The revision petition has been filed for a limited purpose for a direction to the Family Court at Madras to dispose of H.M.O.P.No.385 of 2018 as soon as possible.

2. It is informed by the learned counsel that the matter is now pending at the stage of filing counter. The revision petition was filed in the year 2019. Counter has been filed by the party to the proceedings and a direction therefore cannot be given to the Judge to dispose of H.M.O.P. Such a direction can be given only when the matter is taken up for trial and it can be indicated that the trial may be conducted without granting any unnecessary adjournment.

3. I am not inclined to grant any order except indicating that the learned Judge in which Court the H.M.O.P. is pending shall certainly dispose of the matter in accordance with law.

4. Accordingly, the Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
