Mr.C.Jagdish, learned Special Government Pleader (M.V.(M&M)) takes notice for the respondent. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner seeks for a direction to the respondent to release and hand over the brand new two wheeler Royal Enfield, Classic 500, Chrome Black having Chassis No. ME3U5SF0GM181975 and Engine No. U5SF0GM181975. It appears that the said vehicle purchased by the petitioner, met with an accident on 18.12.2016, even before its registration and consequently, the same was seized by the police and handed over to the respondent. Now, the petitioner seeks for release of the said vehicle.

3. It appears that the petitioner has already moved an https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

application before the respondent on 17.03.2017 seeking for such relief. Therefore, it is for the respondent, to consider and pass appropriate orders, without loss of further time, as it is claimed that the said brand new vehicle is kept idle at the office of the respondent, thereby exposing the same to sun and rain. Accordingly the writ petition is disposed of, by directing the respondent to consider the representation dated 17.03.2017 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of seven days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
