The sole accused in a trap case registered under Prevention of Corruption Act seeks direction to the Investigating Officer to file final report without further delay.
2. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner is to be superannuated shortly, in the circumstances, in the interest of justice, a direction stated at the outset is sought for.
3. The learned Government Advocate submitted that major part of investigation is over, however, he needs three months time to complete the necessary work.

4. In the circumstances, within two months time from today, the investigation has to be completed and the final report has to be filed before the Special Judge under Prevention of Corruption Act / Chief Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvallur.
5. Mr.Ganesh, the Investigating Officer, who is present today has noted this direction of the Court.
