Department, by issuance of appropriate notification and to complete such exercise within the time frame to be stipulated by this Honourable Court (in WP.NO.2222 of 2021) and;
2) To pass interim directions directing the respondents to include traditional Sthapathis belonging to Hindu Viswakarma Community as part of the Executive Committee that would take care of the day today administration of the temples under the ambit of Hindu Religious and Endowment Board (WMP.NO.2518/2021) pending disposal of the above In WP.NO.2222/2021.
Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of MR.T.S.RAJAMOHAN, Advocate for the petitioner in both the petitioner and of MR.NRR ARUN NATARAJAN GOVERNMENT ADVOCATE on behalf of the 2nd Respondent in both the petition, the court made the following order:- This matter is listed for compliance today.
2. Mr.NRR Arun Natarajan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the HR&CE Department has filed a memo dated 07.07.2021 requesting a period of four weeks to complete the process as directed by my order dated 03.02.2021 in disposing this writ petition. He also states that the process of enquiry is on ongoing and the matter has been heard on a few occasions and some details have been collected by the petitioner. This is recorded.
3. I see no reason keeping this writ petition listed for compliance any longer. I only reiterate that the time frame indicated by the respondent be adhered to and orders passed within a period of four weeks from today.
