ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the Superintendent of Police, Tirupur District to transfer the investigation in Crime No.30 of 2014, pending on the file of the respondent police to any other police station or any other independent agency at the earliest point of time as may be fixed by this Court.

2.Heard, Mr.J.Pothiraj, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Mohamed Riyaz, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent and perused the materials available on record.

3.It is seen that almost four years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner cannot be granted now.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court does not want to interfere with the investigation at this stage. However, the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report if not filed already within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above observation and direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
