(Order of the Court was made by DR.S.VIMALA,J.,) This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed by the husband of the detenue, seeking a direction to the respondents to produce her wife, Anusiya, aged about 23 years, before this Court.
2. Today, the detenue is present before this Court. When we enquired the detenue and showed the marriage photographs produced before this Court by the petitioner, the detenue submitted that the person in the photograph is her friend. She further submitted that graphics technology might have been used to produce these photographs.
2.1. When the petitioner showed videos from the cell phone, the detenue was not responding to that and she submitted that she wants to go with the parents.
3. However, the petitioner wanted to talk with the detenue or to her parents, but, the request was declined by the repsective parties. Finally, the petitioner made a representation that his life should not be in danger as he is facing constant threat from the parents of the detenue and hence, sufficient protection must be ordered to be given to him.
4. In view of the above, the concerned jurisdictional police shall ensure that necessary protection is given to the petitioner and his family, in case any complaint of threat is brought to their notice.
5. With the above observication and direction, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
