Respondents Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to appoint the petitioner to any suitable post in the second respondent's office after considering the representation dated 16.12.2023 and by taking note of the educational qualification on compassionate grounds.

ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed for direction directing the second respondent to appoint the petitioner in any suitable post in the second respondent office on compassionate ground.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.
3. The petitioner's mother was working as an Assistant Director cum Officer at Periya Agrahaaram, Leather Tanners Cottage Industry Association Limited, Erode District. She died on 01.02.2012, while she was in service. The petitioner made a representation seeking appointment on the compassionate ground. On the same day, his father also made a representation for compassionate appointment. Though there were several communications between them, the petitioner was not given any employment on compassionate ground. Therefore, finally, the petitioner submitted a representation seeking appointment the
compassionate ground. The petitioner seeks appointment on compassionate ground after a period of twelve years from the date of his mother's demise.
4. Therefore, the representation submitted by the petitioner cannot be considered and the writ petition is devoid of merits and it is liable to be dismissed. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs.
