O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the learned learned Judicial Magistrate, Rasipuram to dispose off the C.C.No.44/2018 pending on their file, within a stipulated time.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that though the charge sheet was filed against the petitioner in respect of the accident committed by him, as early as on 14.03.2018 and charge sheet being taken on file in 2018 itself, till date the trial is yet to commence. He further submitted that the trial Court is not taking any steps to progress the trial or termite it.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the there are around 22 witnesses and out of which the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

material witnesses would be 10 to 12 and they will be examined within the stipulated time without delay.

4. Recording the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the Trial Court is directed to complete the trial without any delay, as expeditiously as possible, not later than four months from the date of normal functioning of the Court. The petitioner is directed to co-operate with the trial and cross examine the witnesses as and when they appeared.

5. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
