This court allowed the present petition on 01.11.2019 and directed the Sub-Inspector of Police, T.Pazhur Police Station, Ariyalur District to handover the case files in Crime No.149 of 2013 to the Inspector of Police, CBCID, Ariyalur District. Further, the Superintendent of Police, Ariyalur District was directed to take action against the concerned Station House Officer, who is responsible for the matter being kept pending for more than six years and file a report on 29.11.2019.

2. Today, the first respondent filed a counter contending that the orders passed by this Court on 01.11.2019 have been complied with.
