Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent to pass appropriate orders on the petitioners' applications vide No.15321 and 15322 dated 24.12.2014 and 20.08.2015 respectively, and the further representation dated 10.02.2016, by assessing the petitioners' Apartment No.F-2, in Plot No.109, in S&P Residency (in Ward No:05), Survey No.154/1, in Ayanambakkam Village, Ambattur Taluk, Thiruvallur District, to Property Tax and collect the Property Tax for the Assessment Period 2014-2015 and 2015-2016 (I & II) and issuance of the receipts in respect of the same, in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

Today, the matter is listed through Video Conferencing. By consent of both the parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.
2. The petitioners challenge the enhancement of the Property Tax for the assessment period 2014-15 and 2015-16 in the present Writ Petition.
3. When the matter was called, Mr.K.Mohammed Rafiq, learned counsel representing the petitioners' counsel submitted that the petitioners have admitted the assessed tax for the period 201415 and 2015-16 and have also remitted the tax to the third respondent and does not wish to get along with the Writ Petition.
4. In view of the submission made by the learned representing counsel for the petitioners, no effective orders can be passed in the present case and accordingly, the Writ Petition stands closed. No costs.
