W.M.P.No.1672 of 2024 in W.P.No. 1895 of 2021 R.N.MANJULA, J.

The petitioner has filed this petition to amend the prayer in the above writ petition to the effect that the respondents should be directed to promote the petitioner on par with his junior.

2. Earlier the prayer in the writ petition was to set aside the promotion panel list which includes the fourth respondent also.

3. Since the fourth respondent is an unnecessary party against whom no relief can be sought, this petition is allowed.

4. Registry is directed to carry out the necessary amendment in the above writ petition and list the matter after two weeks.
