For Petitioners in both Crl.O.Ps : Mr.B.Harikrishnan For R1 in Crl.O.P.No.897/19 : Mr.N.S.Suganthan Government Advocate (Crl.Side) For R2 in Crl.O.P.No.897/19 : Mr.M.N.Balakrishnan For Respondent in Crl.O.P.No.912/19 COMMON ORDER These two Criminal Original Petitions are filed to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.428 of 2018, pending on the file of the Inspector of Police, D-3, Podanur Police Station, Coimbatore and to quash the proceedings in M.C.No.125 of 2018, on the file of the Family Court, Coimbatore.

The petitioner is the husband of the complainant. Pending quash petitions, the parties have arrived at compromise to part 2/5

away the dispute amicably without causing any suspicion against each other. As a consequence, they have also decided to withdraw the criminal complaint pending investigation in F.I.R.No.428 of 2018 and Maintenance Case pending in M.C.No.125 of 2018. Accordingly, the Memo of Compromise between the petitioner and the respondent/K.Jayasree has been entered on 18.10.2022 and a copy of the same is filed.

The learned counsels representing the parties submit that these two petitions to quash the F.I.R., and Maintenance Case respectively may be allowed enabling the dispute to be settled amicably. Also it is stated that both the petitioner and the respondent filed a petition for divorce by mutual consent before the Family Court, Coimbatore. 4.

Recording the same, the Crl.O.P.No.897 of 2019 filed to quash the F.I.R.No.428 of 2018 on the file of the 1st respondent is allowed and the F.I.R., is quashed.

The Crl.O.P.No.912 of 2019 filed to quash the 3/5

M.C.No.125 of 2018, on the file of the Family Court, Coimbatore is allowed and all further proceedings in M.C.No.125 of 2018 is quashed. Consequently, the connected Criminal Miscellaneous Petitions are also closed.
