Defendants The plaint is filed and numbered as Civil Suit under order VII Rule 1 of the Code of Civil Procedure and Order IV Rule 1 of the Rules of the High Court, Madras Original Side, 1956 praying for a judgment and decree: a) for a sum of Rs.38,93,520-67 (Rupees thirty eight lakhs ninety three thousand five hundred and twenty and paise sixty seven only) together with interest at 19% annum from 31.05.1993 till the date of decree, and at the rate of 19% per annum till the date of realisation;
b) for the costs of this suit;

JUDGMENT
Today, when the matter came up for hearing, there is no representation for the plaintiff.
2. The matter is pending for ex-parte evidence from 11.08.2015. Several adjournments granted by the learned Additional Master III, for recording evidence, but the plaintiff has not given his evidence. When the matter came up before this Court on 22.11.2016 also, there was no representation from the plaintiff side. Even today there is no representation for the plaintiff.
3. The conduct of the plaintiff in failure to tender his evidence, clearly shows that he is not interested in prosecuting the suit, moreover the suit is also of the year 1996.
