O R D E R

(The case has been heard through video conference) This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner to enlarge him on interim / transit anticipatory bail in the event of arrest by the respondents in Crime No.9 of 2020 pending investigation on the file of the third respondent police.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that a false complaint has been given against the petitioner and he has nothing to do with the said allegations. He further submitted that Interstate Anticipatory bail may be granted to him to enable him to move the appropriate jurisdictional Court for necessary relief.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions would submit that the concerned respondent has no intention to arrest the petitioner, however, on instructions he would submit that there is a case pending against the petitioner on the file of the third respondent.

4. Taking into consideration that there is an apprehension of arrest by the third respondent, this Court is inclined to grant inter-state interim anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. The interim interstate anticipatory bail is granted to the petitioner for a period of four weeks, on condition that the petitioner shall surrender before the learned V Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai, within a period of fifteen days from the date on which the order copy is made ready and the petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand only) each with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the said learned Magistrate. Further, within two weeks from the date of execution of bail bond, the petitioner shall approach the competent jurisdictional Court in the State of Karnataka and seeks appropriate relief failing which, this anticipatory bail shall automatically get cancelled. -sd/- 02/02/2021 This order, on being produced, be punctually observed and carried into execution by all concerned TRUE COPY Sub-Assistant Registrar (Statistics/C.S.)
