O R D E R

This Writ Petition is filed for a Mandamus to direct the respondents to assign the lands in Survey No.235/2, measuring 4 acres and 60 cents at Kaduvanur Village, Sankarapuram Taluk, Villupuram District, in the name of the petitioner, by claiming that the said property was already assigned in the name of the petitioner's father by name Muthal Naidu, who was an Exserviceman.

2. Heard both sides.

3. It is contended by the learned counsel for the petitioner that after the death of the petitioner's father, the petitioner https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

being the sole legal heir is entitled to get the land reassigned in his name.

4. Ventilating such grievance, the petitioner has already made a representation before the respondents on 22.11.2018 and the said representation is said to be still pending.

5. Therefore, this Court, without expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner, directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
