ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent Police to complete the investigation of the case in Crime No.394 of 2018 on the file of the respondent Police and file final report within a time.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though the respondent has registered a case in the Crime No.394 of 2018 on 19.07.2018, no final report is filed till date.

3. Mr.N.Muthuvel, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that the final report is ready and the respondent police may be permitted to file the same within a period of one week.

4.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent.

5. In view of the above, the respondent police is directed to either file a final report or closure report, as the case may be, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the defacto complainant.
