Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to conduct the enquiry and take appropriate action against the respondents 4 to 6 as per the petitioner's representation dated 16.12.2023 and submit a report within the time frame.

ORDER

The petitioner who is the President of the Konakalvadi Village Panchayat has filed this writ petition to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to conduct an enquiry on his representation dated 16.12.2023 and to initiate action against the respondents 5 and 6, who are said to be illegal allottees of the house under Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana (Gramin).

2. Mr.C.Vigneswarn, the learned counsel for the petitioner, submitted that the fourth respondent has passed an order stating that the sixth respondent is an ineligible beneficiary and issued recovery notice against the sixth respondent.

3. The fifth respondent is the wife of the sixth respondent. As insisted by the petitioner, actions have been taken by the fourth respondent and recovery notice has also been issued to the sixth respondent. Hence, nothing survives for further consideration in this writ petition.
