O R D E R This Contempt Petition is filed alleging wilful disobedience of the order of this Court dated 28.06.2010 in W.P. No.13480 of 2010.

2. The petitioners filed a Writ Petition challenging the order passed by the third respondent. Taking note of the fact that the petitioners have also filed an appeal before the Appellate Authority, this Court directed the first respondent to dispose of the appeal after giving opportunity to the petitioners. The first respondent in the writ petition is the Secretary to Government, Revenue Department and appeal probably lies only before the Commissioner, Land Administration. Be that as it may, the Revenue Divisional Officer appears to have passed an order dated 28.08.2012, in favour of the petitioners. Since the order has been passed in favour of the petitioner in the contempt petition, learned Additional Government Pleader states that the contempt petition may be closed.

It is quite interesting to note that the learned Additional Government Pleader report compliance ignoring the directions of this Court. However, having regard to the fact that the petitioner's grievance has been addressed, this Court is of the view that the it is unnecessary to proceed further in the contempt petition.

3. Accordingly, recording the submission of the learned Additional Government Pleader, reporting compliance, this Contempt Petition is closed. No costs.
