.. Respondent Habeas Corpus Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a writ of Habeas Corpus directing the respondents to produce the person and body of his father, namely P.Kanniyan, before this Court and set him at liberty forthwith.

(Order of the Court was made by S.TAMILVANAN,J.) Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

2. This petition has been filed by the petitioner/son of the detenu, viz., P.Kanniyan, directing the respondent to cause production of his father/the detenu before this Court and to set him at liberty.

3. It is submitted by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that the case was registered and referred charge sheet was filed before the Jurisdictional Court. If need be, the petitioner can approach to re-open the matter and get appropriate orders, in the manner known to law.

4. Having recorded the above said submission, the Habeas Corpus Petition is ordered to be closed.
