M.B.Anandan, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondent. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the respondent to consider her representation dated 28.11.2017, wherein and whereby, she sought for surveying the land and issuance of Patta in her favour in respect of the land mentioned in the gift settlement deed, registered as Document No.888/2017 dated 11.04.2017.

3. Heard both sides.

4. The grievance of the petitioner before this Court is that the said request has not been considered by the respondent so far. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the respondent to consider and decide the same. Thus, this writ petition is disposed of, only with a direction to the respondent https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 28.11.2017 and pass orders on the same, on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the petitioner as well as the rival claimants and other interested parties, if any. Such exercise shall be done by the respondent within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
