ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence under Section Women Missing @ 366, 376, 352, 506(i) of I.P.C and section 4 of TNPWH ACt -2002, in Crime No.440 of 2019 on the file of the respondent seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that on 10.05.2019, the petitioner kidnapped the victim girl and thereby compelled her to marry him. It is also alleged that the petitioner threatened her that he will publish her photographs in the social media. Hence, the defacto complainant lodged a complaint against the petitioner. 4.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner did not commit any offence as alleged by the prosecution. He further submits that he never compelled to marry him and further he did not took any of the photos of the victim girl. 5. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the statement under section 164 of victim girl also recorded. However, he vehemently opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to petitioner.

6. Considering the gravity of offence committed by the petitioner and also considering that if he is granted anticipatory bail, he may tamper the evidence, hence this court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
