The matter has been listed before this Court under the caption "For extension of time" along with the report sent by the learned Sessions Judge, Mahila Court, Chengalpattu in D.No.1176 of 2023 dated 31.10.2023.

It is seen from the records, while disposing the petition in Crl.OP.No.1511 of 2022, this Court by an order dated 27.01.2022, directed to complete the trial in S.C.No.216 of 2017 within a period of four months. However, the learned Sessions Judge, Mahila Court, Chengalpattu has sent communication dated 29.03.2023 narrating the sequence of proceedings and sought further time to complete the trial. Based on the said request, once again this Hon'ble Court by order dated 20.06.2023 extended the time to complete the trial within a period of three months.

3. Further, the learned Sessions Judge, Mahila Court, Chengalpattu has sent communication dated 31.10.2023 narrating the sequence of proceedings and sought further time to complete the trial. 1/4

Considering the above facts and circumstances of this case, this Court is inclined to grant further time. Accordingly, further three months time is granted to complete the trial in S.C.No.216 of 2017 from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
