Respondents Habeas Corpus Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a writ of Habeas Corpus directing the respondents to produce the person and body of the petitioner minor Brother K.Kumaresan, aged about 17 years, son of Karunamurthy, before this Court and handed over his custody to the petitioner herein.

O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by S.TAMILVANAN,J.) Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent.

2.This petition has been filed by the petitioner/brother of the detenu K.Kumaresan, aged about 17 years, directing the respondent to cause production of his brother/the detenu before this Court and to set him at liberty.

3.The detenu K.Kumaresan, is secured and produced before this Court by the respondent police. On enquiry, the detenue told us that he went outside to do some other work, which has not been informed to the petitioner and that he is willing to go along with the petitioner/brother of the detenu.

4.Recording the statement made by the detenu to the effect that there is no illegal detention and that he is willing to go along with his brother/the petitioner herein, we are of the view that this petition could be closed as nothing further remains to be considered. 5.Accordingly, this petition is closed.
