respondents to conduct the statutory survey, measurement, and boundary fixation of the petitioner's lands in Survey Nos.159/4, 159/10, 159/11 and 159/8 situated at Natrampalli Taluk, Tirupattur District, pursuant to the petitioner's representation dated 03.12.2025 and online survey applications and Challan Nos.2025.0123/36/005688 dated 29.10.2025 and 2025.0123/36/005766 dated 08.11.2025, consequently, directing the 3rd and 4th respondents (Police Authorities) to provide adequate and effective police protection to the survey officials and the petitioner at the time of conducting the survey and measurement, to prevent any illegal obstruction by the respondents 5 to 8 or their men/ agents. ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to survey and demarcate the properties morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, which according to the petitioner is owned by her, based on her online applications, dated 29.10.2025 and 08.11.2025, with the assistance of the respondents 3 and 4, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 2. The petitioner had submitted applications through on-line on 29.10.2025 and 08.11.2025 for the aforesaid purpose. Since the same has not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.
3. Mr.C.Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2 and Mr.R.Venkatesa Perumal, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 3 and 4. Since no adverse order has been passed against the respondents 5 to 8 in this writ petition, notice to the respondents 5 to 8 is dispensed with by this Court.
4. No prejudice would be caused to any of the respondents, if the 2nd respondent is directed to survey and demarcate the boundaries of the petitioner's properties morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, after hearing the objections, if any, from the respondents 5 to 8, the neighbouring land owners and any other party as they deem fit within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of in the following manner:- Page No.3 of 6
(a) Before surveying the lands in question, the 2nd respondent is directed to issue notice to the respondents 5 to 8, the neighbouring land owners, and also to any other party, if they deem fit to put on notice. (b) After receiving objections if any and after considering the same, the 2nd respondent shall conduct survey and demarcate the boundaries of the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, with the assistance of the respondents 3 and 4, if required, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
(c) There shall be no order as to costs.
