This Original Petition has been filed under Section 372 of the Indian Succession Act XXXIX, 1925 read with Order XXV Rule 6 of the Madras High Court Original Side Rules, to grant succession certificate to the petitioners with power to collect the securities and to receive the interest and dividends and negotiate and the transfer the securities specified in the schedule hereunder.

2.The first and second petitioners are the sons and third petitioner is the daughter of the deceased Anandavally R. Menon and K.A.R.Menon. The mother of the parents died on 02.09.2000 and their father died on 25.03.2015. Therefore, they filed the above Original Petition for grant of succession certificate in respect of the shares and debts left by their mother. 3.The first petitioner has examined himself as P.W.1 and marked 5 documents as Exs-P.1 to P.5. To prove the death of the mother of the petitioners, Ex-P.1 is filed; to prove the death of the father of the petitioners, Ex-P.2 is filed; Ex-P.3 is the legal heirship certificate of K.A.R.Menon; Ex1/3

P.4 is filed to prove the shares left by the mother of the petitioners Mrs.Anandavally; Ex-P.5 is the paper publication. None has objected for grant of succession certificate in favour of the petitioners. 4.Considering the above, the petitioner have established their right and they being the Class I legal heirs of the deceased, are entitled to succession certificate.

5.Accordingly, this Original Petition is ordered as prayed for and a direction for grant of Succession Certificate in favour of the petitioners with power to collect the securities and to receive interest and dividends and negotiate and transfer the securities specified in the schedule in the name of the petitioners, is issued.
