Petition seeking bail in in Crime No.520 of 2024 registered for the alleged offence u/s.87 of BNS and Section 5(l) r/w.6(1) of POCSO Act, is on board for consideration.

2.The incarceration of the petitioner being from 02.12.2024 pleading innocence on the part of the petitioner and false implication in the case, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks indulgence of this Court. He also submits that the relationship between the petitioner and the victim girl is consensual in nature. He also submits that the petitioner is no way connected with the alleged offences and he is ready to abide by any stringent condition that may be imposed by this court. 3.The case of the prosecution, as putforth by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent police, opposing for grant of bail, is that the petitioner who is a married man, having two kids induced the minor victim girl, aged 17 years, through social media, eloped with her and committed penetrative sexual assault on her.

He further submits that a statement under Section 183(5) of BNSS also recorded from the victim girl. 4.
