Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to allow the petitioner to participate the revised notification for Tamil Nadu State Eligibility Test (TNSET 2018) for Assistant Professor 23.02.2018 and 01.02.2018 and further proceedings also.

This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to permit the petitioner to participate in the revised notification for Tamil Nadu State Eligibility Test (TNSET 2018) for Assistant Professor.

2.On 01.03.2018, when the matter was taken up for consideration, this Court, after considering the submissions made by the parties and upon perusal of the documents produced before the same, has directed the respondents to permit the petitioner to write the TNSET 2018 for Assistant Professor, held on 04.03.2018.

3.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submits that as directed by this Court, the petitioner was permitted to write the said Test and hence, the relief sought for in this writ petition has been granted by the respondents. 4.This Court is of the opinion that in view of the submission so made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, nothing survives for adjudication. However, the respondents are directed to declare the result of the petitioner on payment of necessary fee by way of demand draft, if not already paid, by the petitioner.

5.Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
