Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to communicate the result of the interview conducted on 28.08.2009 to the petitioner for the post of Lecturer in the subject of Physics in the Government Colleges, which was held as per the directions of this Court in W.P.No.11141 of 2009 dated 23.06.2009.

O R D E R

The relief sought for in the present writ petition is for a direction to direct the respondents herein to communicate the result of the interview conducted on 28.08.2009 to the petitioner for the post of Lecturer in the subject of Physics in the Government Colleges, which was held as per the directions of this Court in W.P.No.11141 of 2009 dated 23.06.2009.

2. The grievances of the writ petitioner is that he participated in the process of selection for appointment to the post of Lecturer and the selection process was conducted as per the directions of this Court made in W.P.No.11141 of 2009. However, the results of the interview conducted on 28.08.2009 was not published to the writ petitioner.

3. This Court is of an opinion that now after a length of about nine (9) years, the relief as such sought for cannot be granted. However, if the results are not published, the respondents shall communicate the same to the writ petitioner without any further delay. If the results were already communicated to the writ petitioner, no further actions are required in this matter.

4. Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
