ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) This writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeks a direction to respondents 1 to 4 to remove or demolish the construction of unauthorized building of Sella Mahal situate at D.No.572/7, Anna Nagar, Rasikomaripalayam Street, Rasipalayam Village, Mohanur Town Panchayat, Mohanur Taluk, Namakkal District, comprised in S.Nos.129/1B, 129/2A3 and 129/2B by invoking Section 135(6) of the Tamil Nadu Urban Local Bodies Act, 1988 and the provisions of Town and Country Planning Act by considering the petitioner's representation dated 21.04.2025.
2. Learned State counsel, on instructions, submits that the second respondent has already proceeded with enforcement action and notice under Section 56 and 57 of the Town and Country Planning Act, 1971 dated 2.2.2026 was issued to lock and seal the building and to vacate the entire things inside the unauthorised building and discontinue the use of the building within a time frame of seven days from the date of notice. He would submit that further steps, if already not taken, would be taken forthwith in accordance with law.
3. Since the second respondent has initiated enforcement action, no further adjudication is required in this writ petition. The writ petition is, therefore, disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, interim application is closed.
