The matter is listed today under the caption 'for reporting compliance'.

2. The petitioner was granted interim anticipatory bail by this Court on 30.01.2023 with certain conditions and one of the conditions was that;

"6(ii) the petitioner is directed to deposit a sum of Rs.7 lakhs to the credit of Crime No.159 of 2022 without prejudice to his claim within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and shall produce the said receipt before the Court below."

3. Again on 27.02.2023, when the matter was listed before this Court, the petitioner was directed to deposit the said amount on or before 21.03.2023. and this Court had stated that no further time will be granted.

4. Today (21.03.2023) when the matter is taken up, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks time to comply with the said condition. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

5. Mr.Alexandar, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent would submit that this court had granted interim anticipatory bail to the petitioner with a condition to deposit a sum of Rs.7 lakhs to the credit of Crime No.159 of 2022 on or before 21.03.2023 and this Court had stated that no further time will be granted. However, the petitioner has not complied with the said condition so far.

6. In view of the above, the interim anticipatory bail granted to the petitioner stand canceled.
