In view of the same, the petitioner also filed a petition as Maalik alais Abdul Maalik. When the petitioner filed an appropriate application before the trial Court, it was not considered for the reason that, in the Adhar Card, the petitioner name was found as Maalik @ Abdul Maalik.

2. To rectify the name of the petitioner, Crl.M.P.No.663 of 2022 in Crl.O.P.No.16612 of 2021 is filed and the same is ordered today.

1. In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to surrender before the Principal District and Sessions Judge, Special Court for SC/ST (POA) Act, Ariyalur, and the learned Judge shall deal with the matter on the same day on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the victims under Section 15-A (3) of the SC/ST Act. 1/2
