PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus, calling for the records relating to the detention order No.683/BCDFGISSSV/2023, dated 20.12.2023, passed by the 2nd respondent to produce the petitioner's mother S.Jayanthi W/o.Sasikumar, aged about 40 years, the detenue now confined in Special Prison for women, Puzhal, Chennai, before this Court and set aside the petitioner's mother S.Jayanthi, W/o.Sasikumar, aged about 40 years the detenue herein at liberty.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner, as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, by producing a copy of the Government Order in G.O.Rt.No.629, Home, Prohibition and Excise (X) Department, dated 01.02.2024, submitted that the detention order has already been revoked.
2. Recording the said submission, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands dismissed as infructuous.
