The petitioner/A1 in Crl.O.P.No.841 of 2024, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence punishable under Sections 9,31,50,51,52 of WLP Act 1972 and U/S 21(d)(h) under Tamil Forest Act, 1882 in W.L.O.R No. 07 of 2023, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The petitioner/A3 in Crl.O.P.No.841 of 2024, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence punishable under Sections 9,31,50,51,52 of WLP Act 1972 and U/S 21(d)(h) under Tamil Forest Act, 1882 in W.L.O.R No. 07 of 2023, seeks anticipatory bail.

3. It is stated that A1,A2 and A3 went to Sathyamangalam Reserve forest wherein the respondent found all the three accused in a two wheeler. They had killed 5 deer and one wild boar and were 1/3

carrying them in a two wheeler. A2 has been arrested and he has one previous case.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner stated that A3 has not no previous case and he is only a friend of A1.

5. The learned Government Advocate (crl side) appearing for the respondent submitted that all the three accused were present in the place of occurrence. However, investigation has to be done whether any similar incident had taken place on earlier occasions.

6. In view of the above, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory to the petitioners. Hence, these Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
