O R D E R

The Writ Petition is filed for the following relief: "To direct the 3rd respondent to issue patta in favor for the petitioner for the property comprised in survey no. 64/2 situated at Avinankudi village, Tittagdui taluk, Cuddalore district, in pursuance of petitioner's representation dated 18.08.2023".

2. It is the case of the petitioner that the subject property originally belonged to his father. After his father's demise, the petitioner and his brothers are in enjoyment of the same. The petitioner would submit that they have orally partitioned the property and enjoying their respective portions. Thereafter, the petitioner verified the revenue records and he was shocked to learn that the subject property was classified as a poramboke. Therefore, the petitioner made 2/5

a representation to the respondents on 18.08.2023. Since there is no response, the petitioner is before this Court.

3. Heard the learned counsels on the either side and perused the records.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the Writ Petition is allowed. The 3rd respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner and issue patta in favour of them. In case of rejection, a speaking order shall be passed. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of 4 weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
