Respondents Prayer:- Writ Petition is filed, under the Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to consider the petitioners representation dated 22.07.2020, 28.10.2020, 10.11.2020 for taking an action against the 5th respondent under Section 205 of Tamil Nadu Village Panchayat Act within stipulated period fixed by this Court.

O R D E R
This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent to consider the petitioners representation dated 22.07.2020, 28.10.2020 and 10.11.2020 for taking an action against the 5th respondent under Section 205 of Tamil Nadu Village Panchayat Act. 2/6
2. The petitioners are the elected ward member. They have made a representation to the District Collector, Tiruppur to take action against the President of Panchayat Board under Section 205 of the Tamil Nadu Village Panchayat Act for the alleged irregularities. Since the representation was pending this Writ Petition has been filed for a direction to dispose of the representation on merits.
3. The sum and substance of the representation are to the effect that the representation sent by them, as the ward members of the Panchayat against the Panchayat President for initiation of the action on the ground that Panchayat President is granting building plan approval, before the Panchayat passing any resolution.
4. The learned Special Government Pleader produced a copy of the proceedings by the first respondent/District Collector and submitted that action has been initiated on the representation and show cause notice has been issued to the District Development Officer and also the Village Tahsildar, Tharapuram and further actions will be taken in 3/6
accordance with law.
5. Recording the same, this Writ Petition is stands disposed of and the competent Authority shall complete the proceedings in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
