This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to issue Non Traceable Certificate based on the petitioner's complaint dated 14.10.2022 and dispose the same.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner had lost his original sale deed dated 16.04.1983 in Document No.3166 of 1983 on the file of the Sub-Registrar, Sriperumanthur and salde deed dated 13.07.1994 in Doc.No.484 of 1994 on the file of the Sub Registrar Joint_1, Chengalpet. Hence, he preferred a online complaint on 14.10.2022 before the respondent.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent submitted that the Director General of Police issued a Circular Memorandum in Rc.No.2029209/General.1(1)/2022 dated 01.04.2022 with regard to the procedure to be followed for the issuance of Non Traceable Certificate. He further submitted that if the petitioner gives the representation following the instructions given in the Circular Memorandum, necessary action would be taken.

4. Recording the same, this Court directs the petitioner to give fresh representation based on the instructions given in the Circular Memorandum Rc.No.2029209/General.1(1)/2022 dated 01.04.2022. On receiving such representation, the respondent Police is directed to dispose of the representation within a period of four weeks thereafter. 2/4

5. With the above directions, this Criminal Origianl Petition is disposed of.
