This petition has been filed to direct the respondent not to multiply the case in entertaining any complaints relating to the petitioner's business by themselves or their subordinate Police officers under the guise of enquiry.
2.Today, Ms.M.Indumathi, WGr.I-235, DCB, Erode is present before this Court. On instructions, learned Government Advocate submitted that on the complaint given by one V.Mani, a petition enquiry was conducted in C.No.410/DSP/DCB/ED/2018 by the Inspector of Police, DCB, Erode, in which, one Sathish Kumar and Siraj, representing M/s.Shri Kandaguru Real Estates that they will settle with all the 13 complainants by allotting them plots. Recording the undertaking, the complaint has been temporarily closed. A copy of the said Closure Report is furnished to the learned counsel for the petitioner across the Bar.

3.On the failure of M/s.Shri Kandaguru Real Estates to settle with the complainants as undertaken by them, it is open to the Police to register a fresh FIR, if the complaint discloses commission of cognizable offence and take action in accordance with law.
