The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that on 09.01.2020, the Commissioner, Corporation of Chennai had passed an order stating that the claim of the petitioner and other similarly situated persons, to extend the benefits of G.O.Ms.(2D) No.64 dated 08.08.2019 and G.O.Ms.(2D) No.68 dated 27.08.2019 is not feasible and the respondent has not considered the claim of the petitioner for more than 12 months and till date, no action has been taken by the respondent herein to implement the orders of this Court.

3. This fact is also confirmed by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor. Recording the same, the Contempt Petition is closed accordingly. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to work out his remedy in accordance with law.
