ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for direction directing the respondents to pay voluntary retirement compensation amount and surrendered Leave Salary amount with 10 % interest to the petitioners.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. The petitioners had joined in the service of the first respondent Corporation. After rendering 35 years of service, they opted for voluntary retirement on various dates from the year August 2021 to January 2022. However, their terminal benefits, voluntary retirement compensation amount and surrendered Leave Salary are not paid so far.

4. Considering the above facts and circumstances of case, the respondents are directed to consider the request made by the petitioners dated

10.04.2023 and pass appropriate orders for granting voluntary retirement compensation and surrendered Leave Salary, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
