Respondents PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the respondents to produce the two wheeler Registration No.TN11 V4128 and Engine No.AJ30ET6060806, Chasis No.ME4JE509LGT060492 before the Court of Judicial Magistrate II, Chengalpet, so as to enable the petitioner to get back the said two wheeler.

ORDER

When the matter was came up for hearing on 24.02.2021, this Court passed the following order:

"Mr.Sanjeevi, Sub Inspector of Police, Mylapore Police Station, was present at the time of hearing. The learned Government Advocate on instructions submitted that the vehicle that was seized was handed over to the second respondent and the second respondent will produce the vehicle before the concerned Court today. The learned Government Advocate submitted that the case may be had day after tomorrow to report compliance.

2. Post this case under the caption 'for Reporting Compliance' on 26.02.2021."

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, learned Government Advocate on instructions submitted that the second respondent has produced the vehicle before the Judicial Magistrate II, Chengalpet on 24.02.2021.

3. In view of the above development, it is left open to the petitioner to file an appropriate application before the court below seeking for the return of the vehicle.

4. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
