This application has been filed by the A.G. & O.T. seeking to direct the respondents to get the building approval plan from the competent authority as per the contract and hand over the possession of the New Library Building bearing Door No.67, Jermiah Road, Vepery, Chennai 600 007, to the office of the A.G. & O.T. According to the A.G. & O.T., the land belongs to the A.G. & O.T. and building has been constructed without approval plan. It is represented by the A.G. & O.T. that the respondents may get the approval plan and hand over the building along with the approval plan.

Finding merit and substance in the submission made by the A.G. & O.T. and also bearing in mind the fact that this application has been pending for nearly three years, the respondents are directed to get the approval plan and hand over the building along with the approval plan to the A.G. & O.T. within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
