ABDUL QUDDHOSE, J.

This Suit has been filed seeking damages on account of the alleged defamatory statements made by the 1st and 2nd defendants, which has been published by the defendants 3 to 8. The plaintiff has also sought for permanent injunction restraining the defendants from publishing the alleged defamatory statements.

2. The defendants 3 to 8 are having their office / residing outside the jurisdiction of this Court. Therefore, the applicant / plaintiff has sought leave to sue.

3. This Court after giving due consideration to the averments contained in the application filed in support of this application and after hearing the submissions made by the learned counsel for the applicant / plaintiff is inclined to grant leave as prayed for as major part of the cause of action arose only within the jurisdiction of this Court. Accordingly, this application is allowed as prayed for.

4. Registry is directed to number the suit, if it is otherwise in order. Once the suit is numbered, Registry is directed to post the interlocutory application filed by the plaintiff, if it is otherwise in order and list the same for hearing on 12.01.2022.
