ORDER
(1) The present petition has been filed seeking a direction, directing the CBCID to take over the investigation in Crime No.691/2015 which was on the file of the Inspector of Police, Mannargudi Town Police Station at Tiruvarur. (2) There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. (3) But, however, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
appearing for the respondents/State would state that subsequent to investigation, a charge sheet has been filed and the matter had been committed to the Court of Sessions at Tiruvarur in SC.No.99/2017.
The accused had participated during the proceedings and examination of witnesses had been concluded and the matter is now posted for arguments on 17.09.2021.
(4) In view of that particular fact, the present Criminal Original Petition does not survive.
(5) Accordingly, the same is dismissed.
