This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent herein to dispose the petitioner's representation dated 29.11.2021 seeking to issue Grama Natham patta with respect to the property situated at Vilankurichi Village, Coimbatore North Taluk, Coimbatore District comprised in S.no.70/part, new Survey No.70/28.

2. Mrs.N.Senthil Selvi, learned Government Advocate takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

It is the case of the petitioner that the property in S.No.70/part, New survey No.70/28 is a Grama natham land situated at Vilankurichi Village, Coimbatore North Taluk, Coimbatore District and the petitioner's father was in possession of the abovesaid properties for many decades. After his death, the petitioner and his family members are in continuous possession of the above property. Therefore, the petitioner's wife made a representation to the respondents for issuance of patta. But, till date, there is no response from the respondents. However, the second respondent issued patta to similarly situated persons. Therefore, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition seeking appropriate remedy.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court may direct the respondents to consider the petitioners representation and pass appropriate orders within the time frame as fixed by this Court.

5. The learned Government Advocate submitted that the petitioner's representation will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed within stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

6. Such view of the matter, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 29.11.2021 within a period of three months on merits and in accordance with law from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
