Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to take action against the persons involving in Rekla Race in the upcoming Pongal festival and consequentially direct the respondents to form a Committee to frame special guidelines to conduct the Rekla race.

ORDER
(The Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Acting Chief Justice) The Writ Petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents to frame guidelines to conduct the Rekla race.
2. The learned Advocate General submitted that the direction sought for by the petitioner, has already been considered by the Apex Court in the case of Shivajirao Adhalrao Patil Vs. State of Maharashtra and another, reported in MANU/SCOR/12817/2013 (S.L.P.(Civil).No.13199 of 2012, dated 15.02.2013) and in the
light of the directions given therein, no further direction is required in this Writ Petition. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that let the order be passed to comply with the directions given by the Apex Court on the subject matter.
3. Considering the rival submissions, we find reasons to dispose of the Writ Petition with a direction to the respondents to comply with the said order dated 15.02.2013 passed by the Apex Court on the subject matter.
