Respondent PETITION under Section 226 of The Constitution of India praying for the issuance of Writ of Habeas Corpus directing the respondent herein to produce the body and person of the father of the petitioner, Mr.Murugan, S/o. Arasapannadi, Hindu aged about 85 years, before this Honourable Court, who is missing from 13.5.2015 and set him at liberty.

O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH,J.) This Habeas Corpus Petition is filed by the daughter of the detenu for a direction to the respondent to produce the detenu before this Court and set him at liberty.

2. It is seen that the petitioner's father Murugan has gone missing, in connection with which a case in Crime No.400 of 2015 has been registered on 19.05.2015 on the file of the respondent and the investigation is in progress. In such circumstances, the respondent is directed to pursue the investigation and take steps to secure the detenu expeditiously and inform the same to the petitioner herein. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. With the above observation, this Petition stands disposed of.
