ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for direction directing the respondents to conduct enquiry in pursuant to the direction issued by the first respondent dated 26.07.2024 and proceed further with the investigation.

Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court. 3.

On instructions, the learned Counsel for Government of Tamil Nadu (Crl. Side) submitted that the case has been forwarded to the District Crime Branch, Land Grabbing Cell, Cuddalore and now the complaint is pending before the Inspector of Police, District Crime Branch, Land Grabbing Cell, Cuddalore.

In view of the above submission, the Inspector of Police, District Crime Branch, Land Grabbing Cell, Cuddalore, is directed to conduct enquiry on the complaint lodged by the petitioner as directed by the first respondent by the letter dated 26.07.2024, after issuance of notice to the petitioner and the counter party, if any, and after giving them an opportunity of hearing, dispose the same within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order. It is made clear that the petitioner is at liberty to submit all documents during the enquiry. 5.

With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
