O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed to direct the first and second respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 5/1/2023 and directing the fourth respondent to declare the petitioner and other participants who is a successful bidder in Notification in Na.Ka.en.A2/3794/2022 dated 20/12/2022, held on 5/1/2023.

2. Facts in brief are as follows:- The petitioner is the Union Civil Contractor. The first respondent had called for tender in various civil construction works, for the year 2022 - 2023, in Thirunavalur Panchayat, dated 20/12/2022, for construction of class rooms in various school to the fourth respondent Union. Page No:2/4

3. Reminder Notification also issued by the first respondent and tender was opened on 23/12/2022 to 5/1/2023. The petitioner had applied for the tender and EMD amount of Rs.2,31,000/- was paid. Tender was opened on 5/1/2023. But till date, respondents have not declared the tender result to the petitioner.

4. The main grievance of the petitioner is that even though it is the bounden duty of the respondents to announce the result, they failed to do so. Hence, the petitioner had submitted a representation dated 5/1/2023 to the first respondent. Since the same has not been considered so far, the petitioner has come forward with the present writ petition praying for the relief as stated therein.

5. Heard Ms.A.Bakkiya Lakshmi, learned counsel for the petitioner.
