The petitioner has filed this petition to call for impugned order passed by the 1st respondent on 27.12.2019 in letter No.19496/Sa.1/Sa.Nee/Tha Aa Po K (Vizhu) Ltd/Ka.Ma/18 and quash the same as unreasonable, untenable and against the principles of nature justice and consequently directing the 1st respondent to settle all terminal benefits with interest at the rate of 18% per annum from the date of retirement.

2. Mr.Sridhar, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he had given change of vakalat two years back, but till date none entered appearance on behalf of the petitioner. Since none appeared Mr.Sridhar, learned counsel is taken as counsel on record for the petitioner.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the Transport Corporation produced a copy of letter Page No.2 of 4

No.1095/L1/MACT/tnstckpm/20 dated 11.07.2023 issued by the General Manager, Tamil Nadu State Transport Corportion (Villupuram) Ltd., Kancheepuram showing the settlement made to the legal heir of the deceased workmen/R.Sankaran viz., his wife Tmt.S.Sathya as per the order of this Court in W.P.No.28950 of 2019.

4. In view of the above nothing survives for further adjudication in this writ petition. Accordingly the writ petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is also closed. 14.07.2023 dpq Index :
