Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to transfer the investigation in Crime No.3 of 2020 pending on the file of the third respondent to the second respondent herein.

ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking for transfer of investigation in Crime No.3 of 2020 pending on the file of the third respondent.

2. A Status Report has been filed by the third respondent. The relevant portions in the Status Report are extracted hereunder:

"8. It is submitted that as per the order of the Hon'ble Court, I have altered the section from 147, 148, 427, 323, 324, 294(b), 354, 506(ii) IPC to u/s.147, 148, 427, 323, 324, 294(b), 354, 506(ii) IPC and Section 3 of TNPPDL Act on 03.06.2020.

9. It is submitted that the case is under investigation, as soon as obtained the CP No. from the concerned Court, I will lay a final report before the concerned court in accordance with law."

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that a Final Report has also been filed on 02.02.2021, before the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Hosur, in reference No.FR 50 of 2021.

4. In view of the above development, no further orders are required to be passed in this petition except directing the Judicial Magistrate I, Hosur, to act upon the Final Report within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
